LIVERPOOL WANT BARCA YOUTH STARS

English Premier League giant Liverpool are set to raid Barcelona youth stars, according to report by Sport.

The Reds are scouting for Barcelona B youngsters that they want to lure from the famous La Masia academy. The chief Spanish and Portuguese scout of Liverpool is reportedly watching a select Barca B stars with the hope of poaching them. The players have been identified as Marc Cardona, Nili Perdomo, Wilfrid Kaptoum, and Marlon.

Kaptoum has first team experience as he featured in the Champions League game against Bayer Leverkusen. The other three named players moved to the club this summer but have been identified as real prospects. The dream is that the player would grow to become stars that will win title for Liverpool. For now, the manager Jurgen Klopp reveals that he does not know how to win the Premier League title. The coach has been praised for his effort in turning around the Reds squad, but there seems to be a limiting factor.

“I have no idea, it’s my first proper season in the Premier League. I have no idea what to do to win the Premier League. But I’m really sure it was never decided at the end of October. We feel good at the moment, that’s all,” Klopp said.

The former Dortmund manager is delighted with the performances of the players. However, he demands that they regularly live up to expectations. Their defensive abilities have come under scrutiny. Graeme Souness even identified it as one of the factors that could cost them the Premier League this season. The squad’s attack seems to be in top form but their defensive woes seem to be one of the limiting factors so far. The game against Crystal Palace is one recent example that the team needs to improve to win the title this season.
