this is from the official LFC website and should clear up to you that the CF is not supposed to be the creator. In this article they call the wingers ‘inside forwards’ and it clearly states that they need to be ‘highly creative’.

  2. GREAT REVIEW BTW – KEEP THE HONESTY LEVELS HIGH AS EVER AND DON’T BE AFRAID TO MENTION THOSE PLAYERS WHO ARE COSTING US POINTS.

I watch a lot of U S sports in the last 20 years and over there – players can’t hide!
Stats on players in the states is everything – if we study Steven Gerrard stats from 2009 to now, they do not hold a candle to his stats 2004-2009.

It is like you are watching the stats on two different players. He was fantastic – truely magnificent force for us – SORRY NOT ANYMORE!

  3. I must come on here and OUT Gerrard – HE IS GETTING SHITTIER THE LONGER WE GO SCORELESS IN GAMES!

The club captain sets a terrible example in the club at the moment and he is the highest paid player here? That doesnt make for a settled dressing room.

I loved the old Gerrard who had a certain quality above ALL others at the club – but in the back of my mind I always wondered what we would be like once he started playing shit – which is what he has been for 2 years.

This S G is an imposter.

  4. The reason why suarez isn’t creating as many chances for borini and sterling is because that is not his role. His role as ths CF is to score goals. Why dyu think most of our chances fall to him? The role of the wide forwards is to score and create goals for the CF not the other way round.

  5. Cool…always interesting to find out how people become fans from around the world! YNWA!

  6. Rodgers was definitely pissed. No doubt about that. But no way in hell would FSG manipulate the manager choice like that.

And yes, Rafa probably would’ve had a weird press conference… But FSG is not H&G.

  7. My friends interest in FIFA 09 + (my dutch roots=finding ryan babel) + watching them once on TV + the history + the 08/09 season = JLBSports LFC fan.

  8. According ESPN they had 54%… It really depends on what news outlet you get that info from. It varies.

  9. Both teams were very poor, but Arsenal finished their 2 chances. Liverpool didn’t. Gerrard has been pretty poor, but he gets preferencial treatment because he’s the captain. I think he should have been hauled off: yes in one instance a new manager may not want to make such a big a big decision in taking him off but a manager with balls would have hauled him off. If Gerrard is a professional he’ll understand and reflect. If not, well, that’s another story.

  10. Liverpool didn’t have 54% possession…lol you’re chatting rubbish…tho I will say Liverpool fans should calm down about BR…your team looked quite dangerous and there were positive signs throughout the match tbh…Allen’s plays beautiful football…like arsenal :p

  11. whats your thoughts on BR post match press conference. His whole body language was dejected and negative in regards to the transfer day questions. the way he was treated by the owners on deadline day was awful and i was half expecting him to walk over it. do you think he was picked over champions league winner and finalist Rafa just so they can have a manager in place to ‘over achieve on a shoe string budget’ because I believe Rafa would not have stood for what happened to BR last friday.

  12. At least Sterling is now looking a permanent part of Rodgers plans, last 4 games, 2 vs champions league level teams, he has had 3 starts and a sub appearance(vs hearts home)

  13. Arsenal were not shit! Plain and simple You must of watching a different game to think that.

  14. WTF are you talking about arsenal dominated the midfield and played yes liverpool played better in the first 20 mins but after that liverpool were just poor. You need to watch football more closely mate!!
